Knocking on at 90.......

I thought I would come back and change my profile picture, now I am starting on yet another decade. Unfortunately the software won't accept it so I have to put it in my post.

I got distracted by other things in 2009, and stopped blogging regularly, but I have been back once or twice since to make the odd comment. I always plan to take it up again, but each year that goes by makes it harder to do all the things you want to do, and still look after the shopping, cooking, eating, tidying up, paying the bills, and unscrambling the stupid confusions and cockups that seem to beset so many older people as the clarity of their focus dims a little. (Whew, what a long sentence!)

I set up this blog in 2005 saying that I would "tell it like it is" and that is still my intention. I would like to put in a link here to a post I made almost 10 years ago, but I am afraid I may mess it up. It is going to take me time to relearn the way to do this, as I am sure there must have been more than one update to the programme while I have been gone. So I will leave it to the next post ..... (if there is one).

Hello Judith. Like you, I have let my blog slip for over a year simply because no one seemed to be "out there". I actually titled my last post "Goodbye". But, again like you, I still feel occasionally I should take it up again since I enjoyed the process.

I still watch out though for postings from my favourite bloggers (very few these days, I regret) which is how I found this.

Good to see you again and I hope all is well with you. Keep safe and warm.

Hello Judith !
I was revisiting some of my WW1 research and came across the research I did about your relative A Rabone and of course this led my thinking to you! I hope you are well and happy. Kindest regards, Lauren.
