Hello Bruin, look after that place carefully for your mistress, won't you?

You're braver than I am; I haven't even ventured a postcard ;o)

What happened to your next post? The one that starts by mentioning Cohen? When I look, it's not there.

I pulled the post,G. Strange that you should have done the same thing recently too! I had been feeling a bit edgy about it, not sure if it didn't pass the bounds of good taste. Like you, I wondered how the subject of the post would feel if he read it. There is nothing there I would not have said in conversation with friends, but up there on the net......

I don't know. What was your reaction? I could always put it back.

Funny! I could only read a part of the post, because I think you have your setting so that a reader clips it: mine doesn't.
So you should do as you think best.
I could read only a few lines and then when I clicked on the post to read the rest it brought me to a scary looking screen- it looked like a defect rather than deliberate. So now I know what people see!

That's very odd, G. My reader shows a few lines of the post and you have to click on the post title to get the rest. That sounds like yours. I've put the post up again. Have another look and see if you get the scary page again or the rest of the article. Perhaps that happened when I had already taken it down. It is still appearing in web searches by the title, but when you click to go to my website the page cannot be found.

I could send it you by email if you are really interested.

I have it now and have seen it. I'm not thinking that was a very offensive post, either. Certainly not like posting something that was not meant to be seen. I would think if the gentleman wished that not to be visible, he might request that it be removed? Or do you think they would say no?
The post I removed was, I think, much more personal as it occurred in a private rather than public venue.
But, you never know. The British have a different sense of humour than we do, and if you aren't comfortable, than you should do as you feel. I did think it was funny, myself:).

Thanks, G, for responding so quickly. Maybe I'll leave it up for a while now.

I'm glad the scary page didn't come back.
