More visual diversions


Elsie's sister Janet wrote articles for the papers, and amused herself also with child-like drawings which might have been used in a schoolroom - although I think this one is a cautionary tale for adults.

sorry, I don't understand this. Does this tell a story? Seems like there are 3 story lines going on.

It's just one story, I think, Paul. Author writes a book in which everyone is clever and charming. Publishers reject it. Author's daughter chops it up into segments, redraws the characters, and rewrites them as advertising copy to sell products.
Her father's book then makes a fortune, proving the benefits of a course in advertising.

Perhaps the less than perfect layout had you foxed.
