A good friend has gently pointed out to me that, at my age, my 'bloggies' are going to start worrying if I do not post for long periods. Of course, I should have realised, and there is nothing other than laziness, and perhaps an occasional bout of low spirits, to prevent me making a brief posting to say:
Sorry, but I'm too busy / poorly / pissed off to post just now - but I'm definitely not dead!

Don't take offense, Judith - I think it's not your age so much as the title of your blog that gets us thinking such thoughts...
I wondered where you were! It's okay, you're allowed to have some time off, and be a bit fed up now and again. As long as it wasn't appearing as a chicken that's done it..

I check on few bloggers, but check often. And because I only check on the ones I enjoy, if there is a big hiatus, it's like ringing the doorbell at someone's house and never finding them home. I look forward to reading you again soon.
