That's really cute. I don't know how you knew where to look - I've never needed to ask 'what/why' before about Google header decorations. But I think I may have sussed it. What's the betting that the 'roos are knitting for the forthcoming baby, and that No 4 will see them at Bethlehem presenting the finished garments to the Christ child? But that doesn't explain the choice of animal. Does Google have Australian connections, I wonder?
oh darn it. Now I'm going to be muttering "re the roos" all day, simply because it feels so funny coming off my tongue! Merry Christmas you two curious people!
If you feel that you could manage without it, why not pass it on to someone whose payment will not be enough to keep them warm and well fed this winter? Click on the logo above and find out how to donate via the Community Foundation Network. Last year they were able to help over 20,000 people through this campaign.
This blog is about leaving my footprint behind when I go. It's also about finding out who I am now, even if it's a different person each day. It's about thinking, feeling, learning and changing - and about laughing too, I hope; and it's about filling my life with new people and making each new day interesting.
In my posts I have used some images from the web which I believe to be royalty free. If you spot anything which you know to be otherwise, please let me know and I will remove it.

Yes, if you click on the Google headers they will often go to an explanation page. I still have no idea re the 'roos.

Good question!
The folks who work at Google must have been bored and thought "what can we do to spice up the logo?"
