A friend heard this on the radio this morning and passed it on to my Growing Old Disgracefully email group. Another member responded with the following animation, suggesting that it is more appropriate to our organisation than the joke on the radio. I have to agree. [It's not new, but it's still funny.]
And here's another chairlift cartoon I am rather fond of. I think it came from The Oldie Magazine originally. If so, I hope they will consider themselves acknowledged hereby.

I found you via Lee's blog, and I'm laughing at these cartoons..hilarious....
That's two sales pitches from purveyors of Viagra who have left comments here. (I wonder why on this post and not on the one I did earlier called "Send for the Viagra".) They leave their commercial website addresses, but clicking on their names gets you nowhere. It's very annoying, and in my view constitutes an intrusion into a personal blog like mine. It's not as though I was giving any indication that I was looking for sources of the drug. I suppose I shall have to introduce moderation, or character recognition, if I want to stop it, but I dislike that sort of interference in the flow of comment. Well, it's a choice only I can make.

Haha! That GIF is really hilarious! Anyway, I think that radio commercial is going the wrong way. I mean, stair lifts are meant to get you upstairs safely not super quick. Plus, it might be a little dangerous to acquire a super fast stair lift. If you’re going to purchase that you might as well install seat belts, lol! =)
